The Leonard at 101 Leonard Street

The Leonard — a 12-story neoclassical building — has traded hands three times since 2006. It wasn’t until 2012, when developers Bizzi & Partners bought the Tribeca building for $53 million that things got back on track. Now there are just two apartments available at the 66-unit building, where sales began in July 2013.  At press time, 37 units were in contract and just one unit,  a 1,815-square-foot three-bedroom for $3.075 million, remained available. Building amenities include a doorman, a concierge, a gym, a children’s playroom and cold stor- age. The Rooftop Terrace has lounge seating, grilling facilities and a “modern vertical garden,” featuring grass walls, planted trees and shrubbery, renderings show. The apartments have Appalachian oak floors, quartzite countertops, and custom wood and lacquered cabinetry. SLCE Architects oversaw the building’s transformation.
