Zeckendorf Development, the developer behind 15 Central Park West and 18 Gramercy Park, has launched another potential blockbuster condo residence, 50 United Nations Plaza at 345 East 46th Street. The 44-story, 88-unit building hit the market in October 2013. Eight apartments were on the market at press time. Prices range from $850,000 for a 745-square-foot one-bedroom to $3.79 million for a 2,000-square-foot three-bedroom. However, all eyes will be on the 15,500-square-foot triplex penthouse. It will have 14 bedrooms, 1,500 square feet of outdoor space and an infinity-edge pool. The penthouse’s price tag is expected to be $100 million. Amenities include a 75-foot swimming pool and climate-controlled wine cellars. Foster + Partners designed the building and its interior. Occupancy is slated for this year.
