50 West Street

Francis Greenburger’s  63-story luxury condominium tower at 50 West Street hit the market last month after a long lull in construction following the financial crisis. On the back of the nearly $400 million financing deal Greenburger secured last year, the 783-foot-tall glass tower will join the recent boom in high-rise developments populating Lower Manhattan. The 63-story building houses 191 units ranging from one- to four-bedrooms. At press time, there were 26 units on offer. The least expensive unit available, a 1,167 square-foot one-bedroom, was asking $1.615 million. The most expensive unit available, a 3,594 square-foot three-bedroom, was asking $22.645 million. The building has a fitness center, water club, children’s area, and observatory, each occupying a full floor. The building is slated for completion in 2016.
