One Museum Mile, as its name implies, is a 21-story, 113-unit condo residence atop a museum: in this case, the Museum for African Art at 1280 Fifth Avenue. The project, originally called 1280 Fifth Avenue, got off to a rough start. So slow were sales after it hit the market in June 2010 that Brickman, the building’s developer, decided to rename the project — and the rebranding seems to have paid off. The project was declared completely sold out by late April 2014. Three resale homes were on the market in the building as of press time, including a four-bedroom asking $3.499 million. The Robert A. M. Stern Architects-designed building has a doorman/concierge, a gym, a children’s playroom and a swimming pool. Contact www. onemuseummile.com or 212-996-1280.
