Alfa’s Development’s Village Green West, a 12-floor condo building rising just east of the Meatpacking District, is giving a new option for homebuyers seeking high-end shelter in Chelsea. The eco-friendly project, located on busy 14th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues, consists of 27 units. Prices for available apartments as of press time ranged from around $1.525 million to $7.5 million. The Kutnicki Bernstein Architects-designed project started sales in October 2013. Apartments feature wide plank oak flooring, washer/dryer and master baths with marble soaking tubs and radiant-heated floors. Building amenities include a 24-hour doorman, shared rooftop garden and virtual concierge. The building also comes with a gym, lounge and sauna. The project is seeking LEED Gold Certification.
