Joseph Sitt’s Thor Equities is in contract to purchase a 10-story Upper West Side residential rental building for $42 million.
The 58-unit building at 150 West 82nd Street, located between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues, holds 34 market-rate and 24 rent-regulated units, Crain’s reported. The buy marks the latest in a string of recent mixed-use building purchases for Thor, which snapped up a pair of mixed-use buildings in Soho for $22 million in May and a 70-unit rental property at 838 West End Avenue on the Upper West Side with Rockwood Capital for $67 million that same month.
