An Upper East Side triplex will be New York City’s priciest listing ever when it hits the market for $130 million.

The unit is 12,394 square feet and will take up the three top floors of Zeckendorf Development’s tower at 520 Park Avenue, which is located between 60th and 61st streets. Sales will start in the first quarter of 2015, according to Bloomberg News.

The building will house seven roughly 9,138-square-foot duplexes, each starting at $67 million. Single-floor units in the building, which will be roughly 4,600 square feet, will start at $16.2 million.

Now that the New York State attorney general has approved the offering plan as of last week, Zeckendorf Development can start marketing the 31 apartments in the building, Bloomberg reported.

In June, the developers of the Woolworth Tower asked $110 for the building’s top-floor penthouse, which was a record at the time.

Not only will the triplex be the most expensive, Arthur Zeckendorf told Bloomberg that it will also be the biggest on the Upper East Side. [Bloomberg News] — Claire Moses
