The World Architectural Festival went down this week in Singapore, and a new building of the year was named.

The jury at this year’s WAF gave the World Building of the Year title to a shed-like structure with a rainbow color scheme, according to Curbed.

Designed by Vietnamese architecture firm A21 Studio, the Chapel, is located in Vietnam and aims to provide a ‘cheery venue for community gatherings’ in an area that lacks public spaces.

The 1,500-square-foot building is supported by steel columns with white-painted metal sheets. Inside, a tree-shaped steel column lends additional structural support. [Curbed]Christopher Cameron
