That price makes it the most expensive home in the neighborhood
A 1900 mansion has hit the market in Bed-Stuy asking $6 million, making it the most expensive single-family home in the neighborhood.
Designed by Montrose Morris and modeled after the Vanderbilt mansion on Fifth Avenue, the house was built for water meter magnate John Kelley, according to Curbed.
The home features carved wood detailing, Corinthian columns, a billiard room with a bar and an expansive rose garden.
According to Brownstoner, the mansion was visited by President Grover Cleveland and was used as a set in the recent film Gods Behaving Badly.
