Supermodel Elle Macpherson sold her 1,800-square-foot Upper East Side apartment for $2.4 million. Macpherson, known as “The Body,” reportedly purchased the 6 East 68th Street pied-a-terre in 1993 and converted the two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom unit into a large one-bedroom.

The fifth-floor apartment, which is half a block from Central Park, features a formal dining room and home office along with a fireplace, hardwood floors and marble bathrooms, according to the listing on Streeteasy.

It had been on the market for 312 days. “Elle isn’t done with New York — she might buy something in the future — but she is spending most of her time in London these days,” said her broker, Douglas Elliman’s Leonel Piraino, the New York Post reported. [NYP] — Heather Grossmann
