One of the world’s top scientists is trading Geneva’s CERN laboratory for the Upper West Side.

Dr. Tony Liss, one of the scientists who helped discover the Higgs boson — the so-called “God particle” – has picked up a duplex apartment in a brownstone at 331 West 84th Street for around $2.73 million, according to Curbed.

The newly-renovated duplex features two beds, two baths and two wood-burning fireplaces.

Some had worried that Liss’ research could create a doomsday “bubble” through quantum fluctuations. But at least for now, it seems that locals shouldn’t worry about their neighbor ending life as we know it.[Curbed]Christopher Cameron
