Higgs boson physicist picks up UWS apartment
The CERN researcher helped discover the so-called "God particle"
One of the world’s top scientists is trading Geneva’s CERN laboratory for the Upper West Side.
Dr. Tony Liss, one of the scientists who helped discover the Higgs boson — the so-called “God particle” – has picked up a duplex apartment in a brownstone at 331 West 84th Street for around $2.73 million, according to Curbed.
The newly-renovated duplex features two beds, two baths and two wood-burning fireplaces.
Some had worried that Liss’ research could create a doomsday “bubble” through quantum fluctuations. But at least for now, it seems that locals shouldn’t worry about their neighbor ending life as we know it.[Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
