Sorgente Group’s Tribeca condo conversion to launch sales
Eight lofts at 60 White Street to ask as much as $9.3 million
Italian development firm the Sorgente Group plans to launch sales next week at its Tribeca office-to-residential condominium conversion project at 60 White Street.
Prices of the eight lofts are slated to start at $4.6 million, Curbed reported. Each non-penthouse apartment will occupy a full floor. The penthouses are duplexes. A three-bedroom penthouse is asking $9.3 million.
Sorgente, led by Veronica Mainetti, bought three commercial cast-iron buildings at 60, 62 and 66 Street in the Tribeca East Historic District for $23 million in 2010, as previously reported. After the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved the project last year, Sorgente launched the conversion. One of the buildings will continue to hold offices.
