MTA adds 30,000 sf at SL Green’s Graybar Building

Transit authority now up to nearly 300K square feet at 420 Lexington

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority signed a 20-year lease for 30,000 more square feet at 420 Lexington Avenue.

The MTA will now take up about 296,000 square feet at the  1.4 million-square-foot Graybar building, which serves as SL Green’s headquarters, according to the New York Post. The occupancy rate in the building is less than one percent.

At SL Green’s 810 Seventh Avenue, Brightwood Capital Advisors signed a lease for 17,320 square feet and DH Capital LLC and DH Capital Securities took 8,760 square feet, the newspaper reported. [NYP, 3rd] — Claire Moses
