The host of “The View” has sold a penthouse with a view for $9 million.

Comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell had been trying to sell her duplex unit at 130 West 12th Street for more than a year before finding a buyer, according to the New York Daily News. O’Donnell bought the apartment for $8 million in 2012.

Brown Harris Stevens’ Linda and Dennis Stillwell had the listing.

The three-bedroom penthouse, which was once part of the former St. Vincent’s hospital, also includes a 435-square-foot private outdoor terrace, an entertaining area and views of both the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center, according to the newspaper.[NYDN] — Claire Moses
