"Entourage" star paid $2M for five-story property

Actor Adrian Grenier — best known for his role as Vincent Chase on HBO comedy series “Entourage” — bought a five-story townhouse at 112 Gates Avenue in Clinton Hill for $2.1 million, according to 6sqft. Grenier bought the home with help from his mother, Karesse Grenier, who is a broker at Brown Harris Stevens.

The property needs some work, according to the website. It includes a parlor floor with high ceilings and ornate plaster moldings. The rental apartments in the building have been renovated in recent years.

Sowers Real Estate’s William McClellan had the listing.

Last year, the HBO star scoped out a garage, attached to a 3,200-square-foot carriage house, at 29 Putnam Avenue, also in Clinton Hill. More recently, Grenier and his mother reportedly checked out a three-bedroom co-op in Chelsea as well. [6sqft] — Claire Moses
