Winick Realty launches investment sales arm

Ex-Cohen Real Estate VP will lead the new division

Winick Realty Group announced today that it is launching a new investment sales division, headed up by Michael Cleeman, a former vice president of Cohen Real Estate’s investment sales group.

“We are happy to welcome Michael,” said Winick Realty Group president Steven E. Baker, “and we are confident that his strong reputation and relationships will be a great asset as we launch our investment sales division, which we feel is a natural evolution from our retail leasing business.”

The new division will be based in Winick’s Midtown office and work alongside its retail leasing team.

“I’m looking forward to great synergies between the investment sales and retail leasing teams,” Cleeman said.  “The knowledge and information from the retail leasing end of the business will be extremely helpful and beneficial, giving us a strong position from which to service our client base.”

Cleeman led Cohen’s push into New York City and has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. Joining him at Winick will be Eldon Khorshidi, a former investment sales associate at Cohen Real Estate. — Tess Hofmann
