Gotham publisher moving to SL Green’s 711 Third Avenue

Niche Media is relocating from 100 Church Street

Niche Media, the publisher of regional lifestyle magazines such as Gotham, Boston Common and Los Angeles Confidential, signed a 20,000-square-foot lease at SL Green’s 711 Third Avenue, The Real Deal has learned.

The publisher inked a five-year lease for the entire fifth floor. Asking rents in the mid-century building are $55 per square foot. The property is located between Grand Central Station and the United Nations in Midtown East, and is home to other media tenants including Parade Publications.

Niche is relocating from its Downtown offices at 100 Church Street, another SL Green building.

JLL’s Scott Panzer and Kirill Azovtsev represented Niche Media in the deal. SL Green’s Gary Rosen and Howard Tenenbaum represented the landlord in-house.
