Turkish developer Nef has unveiled its first project in New York City – a 65-story, 700-foot condo tower on East 37th Street.

The slender, residential skyscraper – designed by New York firm Perkins+Will – debuted at the MIPIM property event in Cannes, France, where it won an award, according to Curbed.

The project’s Specific Address On East 37th Street was not disclosed.

A press release touted the design’s five “open-air gardens,” which are to be used as “ community terraces.”

“Rather than giving residents small, almost unusable balconies as seen in many towers, they will enjoy big community terraces that are the kind of social and interactive spaces in high demand today,” Perkins+Will associate architect and designer Scott Allen said in a statement. [Curbed]TRD
