Thor Equities’ retail condominium unit at the Row NYC Hotel in Midtown is on the market.
The three-story, 26,883-square-foot space – located at 700 Eighth Avenue between West 44th and West 45th Streets – features four stores, a nine-vendor food court and a 1,000-square-foot space leased to Row NYC that is being built into a gym.
Thor Equities paid $64 million for the retail portion in April 2014, the New York Observer reported. The hotel, formerly Milford Plaza, opened in March of last year after a $140 million redevelopment.
A Meridian Capital Group team of David Schechtman, Lipa Lieberman and Abie Kassin, as well as Eastern Consolidated’s Elie Dayan, is marketing the space. Schechtman, Lieberman and Kassin left Eastern for Meridian earlier this month. [NYO] – Rey Mashayekhi
