Mumford & Sons banjo player Winston Marshall is laying down roots in New York City with the purchase of a $3.2 million co-op in Nolita.

The three-bedroom, one-bathroom, 2,000-square-foot pad at 237 Lafayette Street reflects the musician’s folksy charm with its hardwood floors, exposed brick, and creatively shaped apertures on the interior walls. It was last listed for $3.5 million.

The seller is artist Richard Lichtenstein, according to 6sqft. Sandra Balan of the Corcoran Group had the listing.

Actor Josh Hartnett once lived in the building, which has 21 units total. [6sqft] — Tess Hofmann
