First look: Related, Ponte’s new project at 70 Vestry Street

Tribeca condo development will include 47 units

New renderings of the Related Cos. and Ponte Equities-developed luxury property at 70 Vestry Street have been revealed.

The developers are planning to build a 13-story residential property at the Tribeca location, according to New York YIMBY. Ismael Leyva Architects is the architect of record; Robert A.M. Stern Architects is the design architect.

The building — which will span a total of 154,019 square feet — will include 47 condominiums, each with about 3,000 square feet, according to the website. An 800-square-foot retail portion is planned for the ground floor.

Related purchased the six-parcel site from Ponte for $115 million in 2014. The pair are also teaming up to Develop Nearby 261 Hudson Street and 460 Washington, a 140,900-square-foot residential building with an 80-20 split. [NY YIMBY]Claire Moses
