First they tried to restrict helicopters. Then they banned Uber. Now, the town of East Hampton is going to war with Montauk revelers — by banning parking near celebrity party hub, Surf Lodge.

Complaints against hard-partying Manhattanites reached a tipping point over the rowdy Fourth of July weekend and local politicians are taking action, according to the New York Post.

First, bars and restaurants that strayed from local code ordinances were peppered with summonses. And next, they cracked down on parking, making it difficult for large crowds to form at the Surf Lodge.

We’ll have to wait and see what East Hampton — the home of America’s most expensive listings — cracks down on next. [NYP] —Christopher Cameron
