Summer is over, but it is never the wrong time of year to pick up a private pool – especially when the price has just been cut by $6 million. The 10,000-square-foot house at 116 Waverly Place is now asking $29 million.

The massive Greenwich Village home hit the market in 2014 for $34 million after Spruce Capital gave it a major renovation, transforming what was an entire apartment building into a single-family townhome, according to Curbed.

However, the apartment was pulled from the market and relisted this month with a sizeable discount.

Chicago-based architect Dirk Denison designed the space, which features a rooftop pool and hot tub, double-height spaces, seven bedrooms, four fireplaces, a wine cellar and a “high-speed” elevator. [Curbed]Christopher Cameron
