Tribeca skybridge officially hits market, asks $50M

Technically, the listing is for two separate properties connected by the bridge

A townhouse with Tribeca’s most unique amenity has hit the market asking $50 million. The three-story house comes with the Manhattan’s Staple Streetsky bridge, which connects the house to a separate one-bedroom apartment.

Not including the bridge, the house is 6,300 square feet. The adjoining one-bedroom condo at 67 Hudson Street — a former hospital built in 1893 — measures about 1,900 square feet, according to the Wall Street Journal. Originally, the townhouse was used as a stable and laundry for the hospital.

Technically, the purchase is two separate transactions for two different properties, Kaptan Unugur of Nest Seekers International, who is listing the property with colleague Ryan Serhant, told the Journal.

“It’s hard to price something like this,” Unugur said, referring to previous incorrect reports that the property would ask $30 million. “I don’t think any such property has been offered on the market.” [WSJ]Christopher Cameron
