NYC restaurateur Danny Meyer is coming at you with a new eatery after inking a deal with Lexus. Lexus plans to open a new boutique in the Meatpacking District and the Shake Shack founder will operate its restaurant, café and event space.

Lexus leased the three-story building at 412 West 14th Street two years ago, according to Crain’s. But they have just now announced the restaurant portion, which will be staffed by “a revolving cast of innovative and emerging global chefs,” the company said.

The space will cater to “individuals looking to be inspired by fashion, art, food, music and technology,” Lexus said in a statement. The car company added that the restaurant will feature an intimate lounge and a multi-use gallery space.

The restaurant is expected to open in mid-2017. [Crain’s] Christopher Cameron
