Foodie power couple buy $4M penthouse from fashion editor

That’s a whole lot of cereal milk! Momofuku Milk Bar owner Christina Tosi and her boyfriend Eleven Madison Park co-owner Will Guidara have purchased a penthouse apartment at 139 West 19th Street from Elle magazine fashion editor Lori Goldstein for $3.7 million, city records show.

Goldstein has collaborated as a fashion stylist for major photographers like Annie Leibovitz and Steven Meisel, and her apartment has been featured in the New York Times Style section as well as Elle Decor. According to Streeteasy, it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two walls of extra large windows, exposed brick and best of all, a 1,400-square-foot landscaped terrace. The listing does not note whether the eccentric furnishings are included in the sale of the apartment.

Tosi started Momofuku Milk Bar in 2008 in collaboration with restauranteur David Chang. She has since written two cookbooks and appears on “MasterChef” as a judge. Her latest venture was concocting recipes for Kellogg’s new cereal cafe in Times Square. Guidara is also a major figure in the New York restaurant scene; he co-owns the hospitality group Made Nice, which runs Eleven Madison Park, the NoMad and the NoMad bar.
