It looks as though actor James Spader and his long-time partner, actress turned erotic sculptor Leslie Stefanson, could be moving into a beautiful Lincoln Square co-op.
Stefanson, as trustee, recently signed for a three-bedroom apartment in the 15-story pre-war building city records show. She paid $4.3 million. However, it is yet unclear if Spader is coming with her.
According to the listing, the apartment has been “meticulously renovated and lovingly restored to its current grandeur.” It comes complete with a grand living room which is “perfect for entertaining,” 20-foot ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, a formal dining room (currently used as a den), an eat-in kitchen, a butler’s pantry, double wine refrigerators, a master bedroom with a dressing room, Central Park views, and some pretty flawless windows.
Julie Friedman and Lewis Friedman of Julie Friedman Realty handled the sale, but had not responded to LLNYC’s enquires before publishing.
Back in August 2016, Spader reportedly sold his Los Angeles home in the city’s Windsor Square neighborhood, for $4 million.
