Billionaire Roman Abramovich rented Jackie O’s East Hampton home

The Further Lane estate is on the market for $52M

UPDATED: 11:33 p.m., March 7: Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and his wife Dasha Zhukova were just outed as the renters of Jackie Kennedy Onassis’ childhood summer home last season.

According to the New York Post, Abramovich rented Lasata, an 11-acre property on Further Lane last summer. No word on what they paid, but considering that the home is listed for sale at $51.99 million, we’re guessing it wasn’t cheap.

The home, which is owned by Tiffany’s chief artistic officer, Reed Krakoff, is currently being offered for sale in two lots. For $38.99 million, you get the main house, built in 1917. You also get the pool and guest house on 7.2 acres. For another $12.99 million you get nearly four-acre Parcel With A Grass Tennis Court.

UPDATE: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Abramovich rented the home for the summer of 2017. In fact, he rented the home for the summer of 2016.
