Bridgehampton seems disenchanted with all things equestrian. First the polo grounds closed, and now they are saying, “Whoa!” to South­­­ampton horse owners. Campbell Stables at 6 West Pond Drive is hoping to amend a site plan to include additional structures on their farm. But their neighbors say the plan stinks, and that they are becoming a “mega ranch.” “I do not want it located anywhere near our property for several reasons,” one local said, noting the smell, increased traffic and his daughter’s allergies. “It’s like Saratoga out in my backyard,” said another. [EHS]
