Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman ranks as the city's richest real estate player

This week, Forbes released its 2017 World’s Billionaires list and though many made the cut, none of New York’s real estate magnates cracked the top 100.

Stephen Schwarzman ranked highest of all the moguls. However, when placed among the cohort of international billionaires, the Blackstone Group CEO’s $11.7 billion net worth left him at the 112th slot.

Other NYC real estate players who made the list include Stephen Ross, Richard LeFrak and a certain developer-turned-president, Donald Trump.
