If you’re going to live in Hawaii, you may as well do it right.
An estate in Kauai, Hawaii was just listed for $70 million, reports the Wall Street Journal, making it the most expensive property currently listed in the state.
Known as Hale ‘Ae Kai, the 15-acre compound overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It is currently owned by former Morgan Stanley hotshot William H. Strong and his wife Sandi. They built the house and have been renting it out for around $10,000-per-night. The estate is composed of four pavilions, which each house a different area of the house. There’s a 1,100-square-foot master suite with indoor and outdoor showers, a media room, a gym, a swimming pool and a working farm with coconut, palm and citrus trees.
Neal Norman of Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers has the listing.
Earlier this year, Mark Zuckerberg made headlines over his own $100 million estate in Kauai, when he threatened to sue thousands of native Hawaiians to obtain their ancient rights to the land. He later backed off.
