Jay Glazer, a top-producing broker who’s represented the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, was fired from Compass on Monday, according to a spokesperson for the brokerage.
The Compass spokesperson would not give a reason for the dismissal. Glazer did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
At Compass, Glazer represented Wesley Edens, part-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks and a co-founder of Fortress Investment Group, in the $17 million sale of his apartment to Bruce Willis. He also represented Paltrow and Martin following their divorce in selling their three-bedroom pad at 416 Washington Street for $10.7 million.
