As Tina Brown prepares to publish her diaries later this year, she is also letting the public get a glimpse of another intimate aspect of her life: her home. Or rather, her homes; the star editor and her esteemed husband, Sir Harold Evans, have just listed a co-op they own at 2 Beekman Place for $2.7 million, per city records.

The couple has been trying to shed another nearby apartment they own, a lovely maisonette at 447 East 57th Street (with a current asking price of $7.8 million), for more than a year. Both units have the same listing broker, Kathy Sloane of Brown Harris Stevens, who declined to comment.

Evans actually bought this unit at 2 Beekman Place in his name last year for a tad over $2.3 million. It has two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a big dining room, a “cozy” library (that can easily be converted into a three bedroom), 11 closets and access to the building’s lovely roof deck.
