Tequila tycoon Mike Meldman opens Hamptons Beach club

From LLNYC: Real estate developer, tequila investor and Hollywood shoulder rubber, Mike Meldman is making yet another flashy business play with the opening of his new private beach club, Dune Deck.

Meldman is know for building frat houses for families and selling the tequila company, Casamigos, he founded with George Clooney and Rande Gerber last month for $1 billion. Now he can add Hamptons hotspot owner to his impressive resume, according to the New York Post.

The Westhampton Beach club opened last weekend attracting guests like Bill White and Bryan Eure and “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King dinned on food from former Boulud chef Francis Reynard. [NYP]
