NYC’s top real estate events next week

If you’re looking for an insider scoop on the state of the commercial real estate financing, you have two big events to choose from next week.

On Monday, you can check out Catalyst Financial Partners’ “Cap Intro: Real Estate Fund Investing.” Investors from various real estate sectors including development, hotels, residential, and commercial will be be present to meet one another in hopes of finding potential investment partners. The event runs from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 17 at The Capital Grille Wall Street at 120 Broadway.

For more financing, on Wednesday and Thursday, you can head on over to the CREF Market Intelligence Symposium, hosted by the Mortgage Bankers Association.

The event runs on July 19, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and July 20, from 8:45 a.m. to noon. The symposium will be held at NYU’s Global Center at 238 Thompson Street in Greenwich Village.

The event boasts a slew of industry professionals, including Invesco’s Nick Buss, REIS’ Barbara Denham, CBRE’s David Egan, CoStar’s Ryan McCullough, among others.

For investors, brokers and other real estate players looking to focus on specific submarkets, head to Bisnow’s networking event, set to discuss Manhattan’s hottest submarkets. The Event Will Take Place at Convene in Turtle Bay at 730 Third Avenue. Hot neighborhoods such as Harlem, Midtown South, Gramercy, Meatpacking and others will be discussed at the event.

If you’d like to get some sun an talk real estate, look to the New York Building Congress’ annual golf outing. This is a full-day golfing and networking event along with a reception and dinner, followed by a gift raffle. It’s set for Monday, July 17 at the Westchester Country Club in Rye.
