Researchers at The Real Deal’s expansive New York City real estate database, TRData, have been hard at work these past two years compiling and cleaning data from across the city. Our new development pipeline receives daily updates and contains over 5,000 properties in development. Brokers, developers, investors and others in the real estate industry can use our pipeline to understand trends and pick up leads in a way not possible anywhere else on the internet.
TRData keeps track of every filing and permit issued with the Department of Buildings and New York Attorney General’s office and has an ear to the ground in the real estate industry. Using this information, we can stay on top of a building’s progress and accurately judge whether it’s on course for completion, delayed or seemingly abandoned based on data we have on similar building timelines. Additionally, TRData has identified the true owners of thousands of properties that were registered through anonymous shell companies and LLCs.
We’ve assembled a package containing the 100 largest new building projects that are in active development status, ranked by the number of residential units they’ll contain. The “premium” package contains more than 50 columns of data on buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx including their size, unit breakdown, permit filing and issuance dates, developer contact information and much more.
The lower-priced option has nearly 30 columns of data, including the size of the project, type of project, number of units and other critical data.
