Stratfield Market in Fairfield sells for $1.2 million in cash transaction

The former Stratfield Market property at 1280 Stratfield Road in Fairfield has sold to an undisclosed buyer in an all-cash transaction. The seller of the 12,900-square-foot property was Greenwich-based real estate investment trust Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. Its CEO Willing L. Biddle said the buyer was “committed to renovating the property as a neighborhood food store.” Urstadt Biddle bought the property in March for $3 million. [WBJ]
