Calvary World Mission Church sells Flushing property to New Jersey real estate firm

Medical facility would be constructed on the Northern Boulevard site

Calvary World Mission Church has sold its building in Flushing for $19 million — and the buyer plans to replace it with a medical office facility.

The church sold the building to Regent Medical Properties, a New Jersey-based real estate management firm that specializes in medical office buildings. The firm acted on behalf of Hajjar Medical Office Building of Flushing.

The buyer plans to demolish the existing building and replace it with a roughly 98,000-square-foot medical office property that will also feature parking and other uses.

Representatives for the buyer would not immediately confirm the address of the site, but the church’s Flushing Location Is Listed As 13525 Northern Boulevard on Google Maps.

The law firm Cole Schotz P.C. advised Regent and Hajjar on the sale.

The Flushing real estate market has been extremely active lately, with massive incoming projects including Flushing Commons and the Farrington. Triple Star Realty also just refinanced its mixed-use waterfront site at 131-09 39th Avenue with $46.7 million from RWN Management, and A&E Real Estate Holdings purchased a seven-building multifamily portfolio in Queens that included two buildings in Flushing for $82.8 million.
