More juicy details emerge in Justin Theroux’s legal war with his Greenwich Village neighbor

Back in May, Justin Theroux (aka Jennifer Aniston’s husband) filed a lawsuit against his “tyrannical” neighbor, Norman Resnicow, whom he said waged a “targeted and malicious years-long harassment campaign” against him.

Well now, Resnicow has responded and he’s got some strong words for the TV star, saying the allegations in the suit are “as fictional as the television series in which he recently starred.”

Among the allegations Theroux leveled at his neighbor at 71 Washington Place were that he shut off the water to his rooftop terrace, turned off the electricity on the terrace, killed the ivy that was growing on the deck, blamed cracked marble in the foyer on his contractor and fabricated a dispute over the size of the roof terrace Theroux is allotted.

Resnicow denies and elaborates on these allegations in his response, and also adds some other juicy details. He claims Theroux once asked him to handle his live-in girlfriend after Theroux broke up with her, which somehow “led to Norman having to deal with the girlfriend angry sister” [sic].

Theroux also allegedly “exploded in out-of-control anger” at the Resnicows when the roof ivy was cut by roofers. And, perhaps most strangely of all, Theroux supposedly adopted several rescue dogs and left them in the apartment when he was away, forcing his neighbors to endure “years of endless day and night barking, yowling and crying.”

The response was first reported by TMZ, who had not heard back from Theroux’s reps with comment.
