An 81st floor penthouse unit at 432 Park Avenue has just sold for $38 million, per city records.

The buyer is Alexander J. Roepers, the founder and chief investment officer of Atlantic Investments Group, an investment firm. Atlantic Investments Group declined to comment, as did Douglas Elliman, which is handling sales in the building.

This unit is 5,421 square feet, and features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a private elevator entrance and — like every unit in the building — views for days. The neighboring unit, 81A, sold back in September to a Naciye Kocak for $21 million.

Roepers is Dutch and founded the Atlantic Investments Group in 1988. Since 2015, his ex-wife, Shafi Roepers, a prominent socialite, has been trying to sell a sprawling co-op apartment the couple shared at 4 East 66th Street that she kept in the divorce. That apartment was last listed for $65 million, though it is currently off the market.
