The San Francisco planning commission approved a 28-acre mixed-use development by Forest City this week. The Pier 70 site could have up to 2,150 new residential units or in an alternate scenario be built with 1,100 residences with more emphasis on commercial space. The development still needs to be approved by the city’s Board of Supervisors.  [Curbed SF]
