Plans are in place to renovate the 122-year-old East Hampton Long Island Railroad station. Updates being overseen by historical consultant Robert Hefner include restoring the exterior to the station’s original 19th century appearance while adding phone charging stations, wifi, and digital ticket kiosks, according to Curbed. The work is part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s $5.6 billion plan to update the LIRR. [Curbed]
