A four-acre piece of Lasata, the East Hampton estate where former first lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis spent her childhood summers, has been sold for $11.25 million — slightly off its $11.99 million asking price. The 40 Middle Lane parcel includes the original grass tennis court, but the main house is on a seven-acre plot at 121 Further Lane, which, priced at $29.99 million, is under contract with a different buyer, the New York Post reported. Lasata, which means “place of peace” in the Shinnecock language, belonged to Onassis’ grandparents. [NY Post]
