For the 18th week in a row, more than 20 contracts at $4 million and above were signed last week in the city, according to Olshan Realty’s latest luxury market report.

During the week of May 28, 22 contracts at that price point were signed, down slightly from the previous week’s 28. A majority of these deals were resales, with only four sold by developers, according to the report.

Still, the priciest of the bunch was a sponsor sale at Continental Ventures’ 52 Wooster. The Soho building’s penthouse had an asking price of $13.9 million, down from its listing price of $14.9 million last year. The week’s second most-expensive contract was for an apartment on the 40th floor of Alexico Group’s 56 Leonard. That unit had an asking price of nearly $13 million, a decrease from the $13.95 million the owner asked for in September.

The sales volume by asking price totaled $160.1 million for the week. The median asking price was $6.4 million, and listings sat on the market for an average of 253 days. [Olshan] — Kathryn Brenzel
