Vacant Coast Guard homes in Westhampton Beach to be auctioned off

Dozens of homes owned by the Coast Guard in the Hampton West Estates development in Westhampton Beach are slated to be auctioned off, 27East reported. About 52 homes are sitting vacant, since many prefer to take their military housing stipend to the open market instead. Five parcels of land, 12 duplexes and 25 homes are expected to be auctioned off by the General Services Administration in early summer. While the auctions will take place online, many other details about the auctions have not yet been announced. [27East]
