Silver’s, the restaurant that’s stood on Southampton’s Main Street since 1923, is on the market for $5.8 million. “I just feel like it’s time to go,” said its owner, Garrett Wellins, who began working there when he was 8 and is now 64, according to the New York Post. The restaurant is tucked into the ground floor of a two-story home built in 1905. Outside, the restaurant seats 32 with another 47 seats inside under high ceilings and the original bar seating, built-ins, millwork and stained glass. John Vitello of Brown Harris Stevens is the broker on the listing. [New York Post]
