Sag Harbor’s Whimsy Farms lists for $11M
A compound that spans more than 11 acres in Sag Harbor has hit the market for nearly $11 million, according to Curbed. Dubbed Whimsy Farms, the compound has four separate properties that include apple orchards, landscaped gardens, a 75-foot gunite pool, and spa. There’s a 6,505-square-foot house that was built in 1998 and has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The home has 24-foot cathedral ceilings in its living room, a sunroom, and a master suite with both a fireplace and a walk-in closet. The home’s lower level includes a gym and wine room. A guest suite with its own kitchenette sits above a four-car garage. Nearby sits a three-bedroom guest house and a one-bedroom caretaker’s apartment. New renovation plans filed for Southampton Village’s Mocomanto
The owners of Mocomanto in Southampton Village have submitted new plans to renovate the Victorian estate, which they hope will appease neighbors’ concerns, 27east reported. The owners, Ken and Ana Fox, had their previous plans approved, but critics felt they wouldn’t preserve the 125-year-old home’s architectural features. The owners want the town’s Zoning Board of Appeals and Board of Architectural Review and Historic Preservation to amend their prior approval of the project, which would double the size of the home, known as the “Jewel of Southampton Village.” The Foxes hired architect Arthur Fraser, who consulted neighbors to develop a new plan. A vote on the revised renovations will take place on Nov. 26. [27east]

A two-story master wing includes a wet bar, private massage room, and walk-in closet. The home also has a wine cellar, a media room, a home gym, and music studio. The grounds also include a water lily pond, a heated gunite pool, a spa, and an all-weather tennis court. The home is listed with Bespoke Real Estate. [Curbed]

After only a month on the market, an oceanfront home in Westhampton has found a buyer, Curbed reported. The one-acre property had listed in October for $6.599 million with Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman. The property last sold for $1.911 million in 2015 when it was only an empty lot. Since then, the property gained a 5,000-square-foot home with six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a vaulted foyer, and a gourmet kitchen. The property also has a balcony off its master suite, as well as 100 feet of ocean frontage, a gunite pool, and decks. [Curbed]
