Former Goldman Sachs executive Dino Fusco is joining Silverstein Properties as its chief operating officer, the real estate firm announced on Monday.

Fusco previously worked as Goldman Sachs’ global head of corporate services, real estate and spend management, where he was responsible for managing the investment bank’s real estate portfolio and executing its real estate strategy. He had been at the company since 1994.

Fusco will work with Silverstein CEO Marty Burger and Silverstein President Tal Kerret to manage and grow the company as it expands its holdings inside and outside of the United States. Larry Silverstein will stay on as chairman at his namesake company.

Fusco was a senior representative on the team that developed Goldman Sachs’ headquarters at 200 West Street in the Financial District, where the firm moved to in 2009. Silverstein Properties is very familiar with Lower Manhattan as well, as the firm has famously taken on redeveloping the World Trade Center site, which now boasts tenants including Spotify, Diageo, Casper and Uber.

“Having lived and worked downtown for almost three decades, I’m thrilled to be joining a company that has done so much for Lower Manhattan,” Fusco said in a statement, “and one that has a growing and important business outside New York City and around the world.”
