Foxy Management plans to add to its Bronx portfolio with a 150-unit affordable senior housing building in the borough.

The company filed plans Monday to construct the 111,383-square-foot building at 1323 Boston Road in Morrisania. The project will stand eight stories and 80 feet tall.

The building will include a 60-foot greenhouse that connects two wings of the property, according to Jeff Fox, executive vice president at Foxy Management. The plan is to close on financing in December and build the project over roughly 27 months, “with the obvious caveat that who knows what Covid-19 is going to do to everything,” he said.

This is just the latest of several Foxy Management senior housing developments in The Bronx. The company also has a 177-unit project at 612 East 179th Street in Tremont and a 168-unit effort at 1880 Boston Road in the West Bronx.

Scott Rechler’s RXR Realty also recently filed plans for a South Bronx residential project — 200 units at 2413 Third Avenue in Mott Haven.
