A catering venue sale leads this week’s roundup of suburban New York real estate news.

Four weddings and a restaurant sale

Christopher Leone sold the 40,000-square-foot Jericho Terrace in Mineola to Mickey King, whose family owns Antun’s in Queens Village. The property sold for north of $20 million and is believed to be the most expensive restaurant sale on Long Island, according to a press release.

The facility is able to accommodate four functions taking place simultaneously, including weddings. Great American Brokerage and Windsor Commercial Real Estate shared the listing, while the former also represented the buyer.

NJ office finds new owner

In New Jersey, GHP Office Realty sold a five-story office building at 218 Route 17 North in Rochelle Park for $17.8 million. The buyer of the 105,000-square-foot, which last traded hands for $8 million, was not disclosed.

The property was 95 percent leased at the time of sale, featuring tenants such as St. Joseph’s University Medical Center and GenPsych PC. Stewart Wolf of Goldberg Weprin Finkel Goldstein represented the seller, while a Cushman & Wakefield team procured the buyer.

Developers eye sites for active adults in Yorktown

In Yorktown, Toll Brothers and AMS Acquisitions submitted zoning petitions to the town board. The review process is expected to take months and zoning changes require the input of the public.

Toll Brothers wants to build a 118-unit townhouse community for active adults aged 55 years and older at 2448 Catherine Street. The site is on undeveloped land next to the Field Home.

AMS, meanwhile, is aiming to build 200 rental units and 50 townhouse condos for the same community at 800 East Main Street, which formerly housed the Blue Book Network headquarters.
